Alena Steam

The Alena Steam Products Corps ;aunched itself into the commercial vehicle field in 1922. In addition to trucks and tractors, it produced 2 examples of a 2 cylinder 115 Cu In Tourign car set on a 126 in Wheelbase Chassis. Because the car was announced for sale at $2750.00. Alena Steam doubtless envisioned entry into the Passenger car field as well. Only the pair of cars was produced, and the entire venture was short lived going out of business the following year.

The Alena Steam Automobile was an experimental vehicle that was built in the United States in the early 1920s. It was designed by Abner Doble, a pioneering engineer who was known for his innovations in steam-powered vehicles.

The Alena was an unusual vehicle, even for its time. It was powered by a steam engine that was housed in the car's rear compartment, and it had a distinctive teardrop-shaped body that was designed for aerodynamic efficiency.

The car's steam engine was a unique design that used a flash boiler to rapidly heat water and create steam. This allowed the car to reach speeds of up to 90 miles per hour, which was quite impressive for a steam-powered vehicle.

The Alena was only produced in limited numbers, and it was primarily used for experimental purposes. However, it was seen as a major achievement in the development of steam-powered vehicles, and it inspired further innovations in the field.
