Indiana Auto Makes

Master List of Indiana Auto Makers

Indianapolis had its "Big Three" - Duesenberg, Stutz, and Marmon-during the heydays of the Classic Era, but many more cars, some say as any as 80 different makes of cars were made in Indianapolis.   Many of these marques came and went quickly at the dawn of the motoring age. Indianapolis was an epicenter of Automotive development from the beginning.

Compiling the histories of each will take some, so we will start with the larger marques and take it from there. Check back regularly for updates and more histories of each Auto Manufacturer that called Indiana Home and images of the Cars they built.   If you know have interesting information about any of these companies, please let us know by using the Contribute tab.
